Privacy Policy
- We collect what we need to run MomoEdge: your account, your subscription, the emails you sign up for, and how the site is used.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We use no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
- Your card details go to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information at admin@momoedge.ai.
1. Who we are
MomoEdge (momoedge.ai) is operated by Scope Capital Investments (“we”, “us”). We decide how and why the personal information described here is used, which makes us its “controller” under data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR.
This policy covers the MomoEdge website and platform, the emails and messages we send, and the MomoEdge community spaces you connect to your account. It does not cover other companies’ websites or services, even when we link to them. You can reach us at admin@momoedge.ai or at the postal address in section 14.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Your account. Your email address and password. Your password is stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider, so nobody at MomoEdge can read it. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We also record when you accepted our Terms of Service.
- Waitlist, newsletter and sign-up forms. Your email address, your name if you give it, and any answers you choose to give, such as your trading experience and what you want from MomoEdge. An email address entered in a sign-up box is saved when you submit that box, even if you do not finish the steps after it.
- Your phone number, only if you opt in to text messages (see section 6).
- What you add to the platform. Watchlists, alerts and alert settings, chart drawings, layouts and preferences, and any trade records, notes and images you add or import (for example, a trade-history file exported from your broker). Before an image you attach is uploaded, your browser removes its location and camera details.
- What you share. If you create a share link (for example, for a trade or a chart layout), anyone with the link can see what you chose to include. If you invite another person to view your trade records, we store their email address to send the invitation and manage their access.
- Messages to us. Emails you send us, messages through our feedback form (with your email address), and your answers if you reply to a survey.
- Discord. If you link your Discord account, your Discord user ID and username, so we can give you access to the members’ server and its roles.
- Referral program. If you take part, your name, your email address and the sign-ups credited to your referral code.
Payment information
Payments are made on a checkout page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your card details directly. We never receive or store your full card number. We keep the references Stripe gives us for your customer record and subscription, and your plan, billing period, trial dates and subscription status.
A free trial is offered once per person. To enforce that, Stripe tells us whether a card is prepaid and gives us the card’s fingerprint, an identifier that recognizes the same card without revealing its number. We store the fingerprint with the email address of the account that used it and, when available, the browser ID described in section 7. A card or email address that has already had a trial is not offered another, a prepaid card is charged when the subscription starts, and a second trial started from the same browser on a different account may be reviewed by our team.
Information collected automatically
- Request information. Like any website, our servers and hosting providers receive your IP address, your browser type (its “user agent”) and the page you ask for. Our sign-in provider records sign-ins, including the IP address and browser used, to protect accounts. We do not collect your precise location.
- Usage measurement. We measure how MomoEdge is used with our own first-party records, not with third-party analytics. They note events such as a page opening, a button press or a step of sign-up or checkout, with the page address, your browser type, the browser ID described in section 7, the website that sent you (its domain name only) and, if the link you followed carried a referral code or campaign tags, those too. When you are signed in, product usage events are linked to your account.
- Error reports. When a page or one of our server functions fails, we record what failed, the error, your browser type and, if you are signed in, your account ID, so we can fix it.
- Notifications. If you turn on browser notifications, we store the push address your browser gives us and your browser type, so we can send you the alerts you choose.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Provide MomoEdge: run your account, give you the access you paid for, keep your settings in step across devices, and send the alerts, emails, texts and notifications you ask for.
- Handle billing: start and renew subscriptions, apply trials, and deal with payment problems.
- Keep the service secure: limit abuse (for example, by limiting how many requests one IP address can make), prevent fraud and repeated free trials, and protect accounts.
- Fix and improve MomoEdge: find errors and learn which pages and features work.
- Answer questions you type: some features answer a question in plain words (for example, a question about your own trade records). See section 4.
- Communicate with you: service emails about your account, access and billing, and, unless you opt out, our newsletter and product updates (section 5).
- Meet legal duties: keep tax and accounting records, and respond to lawful requests.
If EU or UK data protection law applies to you, our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (providing the service, billing, the features you use); our legitimate interests (security, fraud and trial-abuse prevention, fixing and improving the service, internal alerts to our team, and marketing email to people who signed up for it, which you can always opt out of); your consent where we ask for it (text messages, browser notifications, and marketing email where the law requires consent), which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligations (for example, tax records).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers that process it for us, only as needed for the job they do:
Our database, sign-in and file storage. Our database is hosted in the United States.
Website hosting and the server functions behind the site.
Background jobs, such as preparing data and delivering alerts.
Payments, subscriptions, invoices and receipts.
Account and service emails, and our newsletter issues.
Our email lists, and onboarding, product-update and account emails (for example, waitlist confirmations, access codes and payment-problem notices). Loops delivers email through Amazon Web Services’ Simple Email Service.
Error monitoring: the error reports described in section 2.
“Sign in with Google”, if you choose it, and our company email, which holds the messages you send us.
The AI model behind features that answer a question you type. The question and the limited context needed to answer it are sent; your name and email address are not.
Text messages, if you opt in (section 6).
Our members’ community, if you link your Discord account.
Our team’s internal alerts (for example, about a sign-up, an access-code email or a billing problem), which can include an account ID or email address.
If you turn on notifications, alerts reach your device through your browser maker’s push service (for example, Google, Apple or Mozilla).
We also work with licensed third-party market data providers, who supply the market data the platform shows. We do not send them your personal information. Some member pages load code libraries from public content delivery networks or show an embedded third-party chart; your browser then connects to those providers directly, which gives them your IP address and browser type.
We may also disclose personal information when the law requires it or to protect the rights, property or safety of MomoEdge, our members or others; to a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, under this policy’s protections; or with your permission.
5. Marketing email and unsubscribing
If you join the waitlist, subscribe to the newsletter or become a member, we may send you our newsletter, onboarding emails and product updates.
- Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. One click stops them. You can also email admin@momoedge.ai.
- Unsubscribing does not stop the service emails we need to send, such as access codes, password resets, receipts and payment-problem notices.
- After you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we do not email you again.
- Our email providers may record whether a message was delivered or opened and whether a link in it was clicked.
You can turn off browser notifications in your account settings or your browser at any time.
6. Text messages
If you opt in to text messages, we collect and store the phone number you provide, the time you gave consent, the IP address from which you gave it, and your browser’s user agent. US wireless carriers require this record to verify consent, and we use it only for that and for compliance. We keep it for as long as your account exists and for up to 24 months after you opt out or your account is deleted.
Text messages are delivered through Twilio, which processes your phone number and the message only to deliver it and report delivery to us. We do not sell phone numbers or text-message consent data, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing. All MomoEdge text messages are operational and informational, as described in the separate MomoEdge SMS Terms, which apply only if you opt in.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any MomoEdge text, or by turning text messages off in your account settings.
7. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies our site sets are for our own staff’s internal tools. MomoEdge keeps what it needs in your browser’s local storage and session storage instead:
sb-…-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in.
Removed when you sign out.
momoedge_aidA random ID for this browser that says nothing about you by itself. It links the steps of one visitor’s path through our pages (for example, from pricing to checkout) in our usage records. When you start a subscription it is stored with it, so we can notice a second free trial started from the same browser.
Removed when you sign out on this browser, or when you clear this site’s data.
momoedge_refThe referral code in a link you followed, so the person who referred you can be credited when you create an account. A code older than 60 days can be replaced by a newer one.
Removed once it is credited, when you sign out, or when you clear this site’s data.
me_landing_email, me_waitlist_name, me_waitlist_email_signupThe email address (and name) you typed, so the next step of the form can fill it in.
Session storage: cleared when you close the tab.
me_waitlist_emailThe address you joined the waitlist with, shown back to you on the confirmation page.
Kept until you clear this site’s data.
Your choices, such as layout, tabs, chart settings and tips you have dismissed.
Kept until you change them or clear this site’s data. Those tied to your account are removed when you sign out.
Copies of data you recently viewed (for example, watchlist prices and chart history), so pages open faster. Fresh data is fetched each time.
Your account’s copies are removed when you sign out.
The site’s code and styles, kept by a service worker so MomoEdge loads quickly and can be installed as an app.
Replaced with each update; removed when you clear this site’s data.
You can clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings at any time; you will be signed out and your preferences reset. Stripe and Google set their own cookies on their own pages (for example, Stripe’s checkout page), under their own policies.
8. How long we keep it
- Your account and what you add: while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except the records described below that we need to keep.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting laws require. Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
- Free-trial records (card fingerprint, email address, browser ID): kept so a free trial can be used only once.
- Waitlist and newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them; after you unsubscribe we keep your address marked as unsubscribed, as section 5 explains.
- Text-message consent records: as section 6 explains.
- Records used to limit requests, which contain IP addresses: deleted automatically within two days.
- Product usage events inside the platform (what you do in the platform, such as opening a tab or adding a symbol to a watchlist): deleted automatically after 180 days, except that we may keep events recorded in August 2026 longer, to understand how use of the product changes over time.
- Website measurement records (page visits, sign-up and checkout steps, and checks of how our pages load, with the browser ID, the referring website’s domain and any referral code or campaign tags described in section 2): kept as long as we need them to understand how people find and join MomoEdge and to keep the service working.
- Error reports and security logs: kept as long as we need them to keep the service working and secure.
Deleted information can remain in backups for a limited time until they are replaced.
9. International transfers
MomoEdge is run from the United States, our database is hosted in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you use MomoEdge from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your information is transferred to the United States, where data protection laws differ from yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on the transfer safeguards our service providers offer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK addendum) or a provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
10. Security
We protect personal information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems and database, passwords stored only as secure hashes, and card details kept with Stripe rather than with us. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account or our service has been compromised, email admin@momoedge.ai. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. Your rights
Everyone
You can update much of your information in your account settings, cancel your subscription at any time, unsubscribe from marketing email, and turn off notifications and text messages. You can also ask us, at admin@momoedge.ai, to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, export it, or delete it. We will confirm the request comes from you (for example, by asking you to write from your account’s email address) and respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
You have the right to access your personal information, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it (including, at any time, to direct marketing), and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that does not affect what we did before. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
If you live in California
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to have it deleted; to have it corrected; and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. You can use them yourself or through an authorized agent, by emailing admin@momoedge.ai.
- No sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16.
- Sensitive personal information. We collect your account login (your email address and password) and use it only to provide the service, not to infer characteristics about you.
- What we collect (in the categories the law uses): identifiers (name, email address, phone number if you opt in, IP address, account ID, browser ID); commercial information (your plan, subscription and trial history); internet or other electronic network activity (usage events, website measurement records, error reports and logs); and the content you add to the platform. We get it from you, from your browser, and from Stripe, Google and Discord when you use them with MomoEdge. We use it for the purposes in section 3, disclose it for business purposes to the service providers in section 4, and keep it as section 8 describes.
Other US states
If you live in another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights. Email us and we will help.
12. Children
MomoEdge is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also tell members, for example by email or with a notice in the platform.
