Sector rotation and the market map used to live in different places. Now they share one page, and the map comes first.
One page, one period
On desktop, the market map sits at the top of PULSE with a single header row. One period switch, from 1D to YTD, drives sector returns, rotation leaders and the map together. A strip of the 12 sectors focuses the page: pick one and the map zooms to it.
The map also gained a real three-month period, and the full-page heatmap is still there when you want it.
Insights
WHAT CHANGED has an Insights tab that goes a level deeper than sectors:
- sub-sectors measured against the S&P 500;
- breadth, and how many sectors beat the index;
- rank changes;
- options flow by sub-sector.
On phones
The heatmap moved into PULSE on September 20, so phones see the same rotation and map in one place. The separate MACRO tab is gone.
Why it matters
Rotation tells you where money is moving. The map tells you which names are doing the moving. Putting them on one page, on one clock, means you no longer have to line up two screens to read one story.
