Quick Start1 / 9

The Terminal,
in ten minutes

The four things on screen, what one signal card is telling you, and the order to read them in. The full Field Guide is there when you want the detail.

There are 6 things to look at, in order. Tap Start and we will go through them one at a time.

Step 1 of 6

Start with the stance — what is the mood?

The Oracle globe at the top of the Alert stream (beside NEW | BEST on a phone) is Oracle’s stance on the whole market, not any one trade: green BULLISH, amber NEUTRAL, red BEARISH. You only need one thing from it: is today a day Oracle is leaning into, or standing back from? Then move on.

Step 2 of 6

Scan the left column — what is open?

The Alert Stream shows one card per trade: open trades first, then any RUNNERS (trades Oracle has marked to let run) and CLOSED TODAY. Do not read them closely yet. Just see how many there are and whether the P&L figures are mostly green or mostly red.

Step 3 of 6

Click one card — this drives everything else

On a desktop, clicking a card loads that trade into the middle and right columns, and opens or closes the card. On load, an open trade is already selected. A CLOSED TODAY card opens in the Performance view. On an upright phone a tap opens the card; sideways, tap the Confidence rail at the right edge.

Step 4 of 6

Read the plan on the right — what would I actually do?

The right column is the trade in plain language: the plan, then WHAT TO DO NOW, the next action. BRIEF swaps the chart for the written brief, with any ORACLE ASSESSMENT (the directive and horizon) and the PROFIT TAKING PLAN (how to take profit in parts).
If you read only one part, read WHAT TO DO NOW.

Step 5 of 6

Find the stop in the plan — where is the idea wrong?

The plan at the top of the right column puts the stop (where the idea is wrong), the entry, the trigger and the targets on one bar, each with its distance from now; the pin is the live price and the P&L. The POSITION LOG under it lists what happened, and every $10K buy, add and trim.

Step 6 of 6

Check the arc last — is the thesis aging?

The CONFIDENCE INDEX at the bottom of the right column is not a buy score and not a probability. It answers one question: does Oracle still believe the trade it already issued? The useful reading is the gap between the score it was issued at and the score now. Read it last, once you know the plan it is scoring.

The screen, in four parts

Tap a part of the screen to find out what it is for.

Stance Alert Stream Chart Plan
Tap a zone above.
The Oracle globe
What is Oracle’s stance on the market as a whole, right now?
The Oracle globe at the top of the Alert stream. Its colour and word are the stance: green BULLISH, amber NEUTRAL, red BEARISH. Nothing you click changes it.
The Alert Stream
Which trades are open, and which is doing best?
One card per trade, including those closed today. On a desktop, clicking a card drives the other two columns — and opens or closes the card.
The chart
For this trade, where is price against the plan?
Our own chart, with the trade’s entry, stop and targets drawn on it. BRIEF swaps it for the whole written brief. On a phone, turn it sideways to see it.
The plan and the read
What is the plan, what do I do now, and does Oracle still believe it?
The plan and its RISK / REWARD, the POSITION LOG, then WHAT TO DO NOW and the THESIS, then the CONFIDENCE INDEX. Read that last, once you know the plan.
✓ That is the whole screen.

The detail, when you want it

Nothing below is needed to get started. Open one when a question comes up.

◈WHAT THIS TAB SHOWS

The ORACLE tab is what loads when you sign in. It has four parts, each answering a different question.

Oracle globe (top left)
What is Oracle’s stance on the market as a whole, right now?
Alert Stream (left)
Which trades are open, and which is doing best?
Chart (centre)
For this trade, where is price against the plan?
Plan and read (right)
What is the plan, what do I do now, and does Oracle still believe it?
The left column drives the other twoClick a card on the left to load that trade into the centre and the right. The same click opens or closes the card. A CLOSED TODAY card also opens that trade in the Performance view.
On a narrower windowBelow about 1,080 pixels wide the same parts stack: the plan sits above the chart, and WHAT TO DO NOW and SIGNAL THESIS below it. The page then scrolls.
What the stream coversThe stream is moving to broad indices and sector ETFs rather than individual stocks — the market and the sectors rotating inside it, not single names. Single-name trades opened before that shift stay on the list until they close, so you may still see one open.
◷HOW OFTEN IT UPDATES
  • New signals, and changes to a signal, arrive as they happen. The list is also re-checked every 2 minutes.
  • Prices of the symbols the live feed carries move as it sends them. During market hours, a stock it does not carry updates about every 2 minutes.
  • The stance on the Oracle globe updates every minute.
  • The Confidence Index updates about every five minutes.
◉THE ORACLE GLOBE

The Oracle globe is Oracle’s stance on the whole market, not any one trade. Nothing you click changes it.

  • Its colour and its word are the stance: green BULLISH, amber NEUTRAL, red BEARISH.
  • On a desktop it sits at the top of the Alert stream. Hide that column and the globe hides with it.
  • On a phone it sits on the ORACLE tab, at the top of the Signals list, to the left of NEW | BEST, with the word beside it.
  • When a new signal arrives, the globe pulses. On a desktop the new ticker flows into it.
  • On a desktop, hover it, tab to it or press it for what the stance means and the MACRO REGIME. Phones do not have this.
  • It turns slowly and stops while it is off screen. If your device is set to reduce motion, it stays still.
▤READING A SIGNAL CARD

Cards start collapsed. The terminal remembers which ones you opened.

  • ▲ BULL / ▼ BEAR: the direction.
  • P&L: the return since Oracle’s entry, not yours. On an options alert it is the option’s return (CALL −15.8%). While the option has no price, and once the alert closes, it is the stock’s own move instead (stock −0.4%: the stock is 0.4% below the entry, whichever way the alert points). Opened, a priced options card shows both.
  • Days clock: how long it has been open. < 1 means under twelve hours.
  • T1 bar: progress toward the first target (below).
  • RUNNER: Oracle has marked it as a trade to let run. Runners are listed after the other open trades.
  • ⚡ NEW: arrived while you had the terminal open. It clears after 10 seconds, or when you click it.

The T1 bar

  • x.x% DD (red): price has moved against the trade. The number is how far.
  • N% to T1 (cyan): how much of the way to the first target price has covered.
  • T1 HIT (green): price is at or past the first target right now. If it falls back, so does the bar.
A target beats the clockSome trades have a minimum hold time. A trade that reaches its first target can exit straight away, however little time has passed.
⇅SORTING
  • NEW: newest first. The default.
  • BEST: highest return since Oracle’s entry first. Open, runner and closed trades still stay in their own groups.
  • To open a card, click it.
  • On a narrower window, a dropdown above the chart also chooses a trade.
⬡THE TRADE PLAN

The right column is the part to read. BRIEF swaps the chart for the whole written brief.

ORACLE ASSESSMENT
In the brief. One line: Oracle’s directive, the time horizon and the signal type. Missing when the signal has no directive.
WHAT TO DO NOW
The next steps: Oracle’s written plan when the signal has one, otherwise steps based on where the trade is now. While price is past the stop or at a target, the steps for that moment come first and Oracle’s plan moves below them as ORIGINAL PLAN. The same happens when price gets close to the stop.
PROFIT TAKING PLAN
In the brief. How to take profit in parts: all at one target, 40/60 at two, about a third each at three.
THESIS
The full reasoning behind the trade: the second tab beside WHAT TO DO NOW.

At the top of the right column, the plan lists the stop, entry, trigger, live price and targets. ✓ TRIGGERED means price is past the entry trigger right now, and PENDING TRIGGER means it is not. It can switch back. No badge means the signal has no trigger.

◐THE CONFIDENCE INDEX

The CONFIDENCE INDEX is not a probability, and not a score for entering. It tracks whether Oracle still believes a trade it has already issued.

Watch the gap between the score it was issued at and the score now. A trade at 71 issued at 68 is improving. A trade at 71 issued at 85 is fading, even if it is still green.

Three limitsOnce a live price is in, it tops out at 92. That is the ceiling by design, not a weak trade.
It updates about every five minutes and is smoothed, so it lags a fast move.
A flat score does not prove a trade is stable. Real damage can happen while it barely moves.

SIGNAL COMPONENTS below the arc breaks the score into parts, so you can see which one is falling. RISK / REWARD AT ENTRY shows how the trade was shaped when Oracle issued it.

○WHY IS THIS EMPTY?
NO ACTIVE SIGNALS RIGHT NOW
The list loaded and there are no signals right now.
COULDN’T LOAD SIGNALS with RETRY
The list could not be fetched. Nothing is wrong with the signals themselves. Press RETRY.
Couldn’t refresh · Retry above the list
The latest refresh failed. The list shown is from the last load that worked. Retry fetches it again.
— active in the status bar
The list is still loading, or could not load. Once it loads, it counts the open signals.
No pin on the plan’s bar, or dashes under its levels
Waiting for the first price.
No T2 on the plan’s bar, or N/A in the T2 cell
No second target was found for this signal. Normal.
No Risk / Reward box
It cannot be worked out from the signal’s levels, or no live price has loaded yet.
NO STRIKE in amber
The option contract could not be identified. The trade itself is unaffected.
STALE
No full price refresh for over 90 seconds. It can flash up briefly between refreshes, and shows at weekends. If it stays on a weekday, prices may be out of date.
POLLING
The live feed is not connected. During market hours, stock prices then arrive every minute or two.
MARKET CLOSED
The US stock market is closed. Stock prices are the last known values.
△WHAT THIS SCREEN CANNOT TELL YOU
How much to buy
The terminal gives levels, not a share or contract count. Position size is yours.
Whether the move is already over
The confidence score lags by design. In a fast reversal, price is current and the arc is not.
What your position is doing
P&L and risk / reward are from Oracle’s entry, not your fill.
That a high score means a good trade
The score measures belief in the trade, not expected return. A 90 with a 0.8 risk/reward is still a poorly shaped trade.
An honest caveatBullish and bearish signals do not carry the same historical edge. Treat a bearish read as a lean rather than a conviction, and size it accordingly.
▯ON A PHONE

The ORACLE tab along the bottom shows the card list, with the Oracle globe beside NEW | BEST above it. The other bottom tabs are other parts of MomoEdge.

Turn the phone sideways for the chartHeld upright, a phone shows the card list. Turned sideways it shows ORACLE as a desktop does: the list, the chart in the middle, and the trade plan and Confidence Index in a rail at the right edge. Tap the rail to open them.
The Terminal Field Guide The full 21-page reference — every control, every readout, every empty state.
The in-terminal guide The same material, on the screen it describes. Press ORACLE GUIDE at the top of the Oracle tab.
